Privacy Policy
OfferIQ is operated by CHOFR LLC. Offer screenshots and selected receipt images are read on your iPhone, and mileage is processed on-device. The records you save can be stored on your device and synced through your private Apple iCloud account. This policy explains the app and website data we use.
Data the app processes
- Offer screenshots & text. When you capture an offer, on-device OCR reads it to compute pay rates and a target result. The screenshot, extracted offer details, target result, and recorded outcome can be saved in the app.
- Location & motion. To track mileage automatically, OfferIQ uses motion and location signals while you drive. Trips and routes are processed and recorded on-device.
- Bluetooth. OfferIQ can use your car’s Bluetooth head-unit as a signal to start and stop trips. It does not access the content of any audio.
- Vehicle & earnings data. Vehicle costs, service records, and the offer and trip history you build power your offer analysis, Insights, and exports.
- Real Estate field records. If you use the Real Estate workspace, you can save lightweight property and client records, business expenses, trip links, notes, and receipt evidence.
- Calendar. If you opt in, select calendars, and configure rules, OfferIQ reads relevant event times, titles, and locations to help classify finalized trips. A clear match can apply your rule automatically; ambiguous matches remain for review. OfferIQ never edits Calendar events.
- Contacts. You explicitly select a contact to link and grant access through Apple’s permission controls. OfferIQ reads currently available details for that chosen contact; it never scans or bulk-imports your address book. Contacts remains the source for current names, phone numbers, email, and Home/Work addresses. The contact link and derived location cache stay on that device and are not copied into private iCloud records. Your OfferIQ client label and work records can sync. Linking is required again on another device.
- Receipts. When you select a receipt image, on-device text recognition can suggest a merchant, amount, and date. You review the record before it is saved.
Storage and private iCloud sync
Saved records are stored on your device and may sync between your Apple devices using Apple CloudKit under your private iCloud account. CHOFR LLC does not operate an external server that stores your driving or business records. Apple provides and controls the iCloud infrastructure, subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
What the app does not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or third-party ad-tracking SDKs in the app.
- Insights are grounded in your own captured history — not live marketplace data harvested from you.
- We do not require you to hand over your gig-platform account credentials.
Data you choose to export or share
You can export raw trip data, expense ledgers, and tax-preparation report packages (PDF and CSV) and share them with, for example, your accountant. When you export or share a file, it leaves the app under your control and is subject to the handling of whatever service or person you send it to.
Website hosting and analytics
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process network information such as an IP address as part of normal delivery and security. We use cookieless, first-party measurement to understand which pages and calls to action are useful. It can record the event type, campaign parameters, referring hostname, general country, and the placement of a clicked App Store or shortcut link. Session storage remembers the first campaign parameters and referring hostname during a single browser session so an App Store click can be attributed after internal navigation; it clears when that browser session ends. This measurement does not receive your offer screenshots, routes, trip history, or vehicle records.
App Store purchases
OfferIQ is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple processes downloads, subscriptions, and purchases under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. CHOFR LLC does not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
Your choices
You control ongoing permissions OfferIQ uses (location, motion, Bluetooth, notifications, Calendar, Contacts, and Camera) from iOS Settings. Contact linking starts with a contact you select; iOS controls the subsequent access permission. Receipt-photo selection uses Apple’s system picker. Turning off a permission may disable the feature that depends on it — for example, automatic mileage tracking needs location and motion.
Deleting a saved item removes it from active app views and syncs that deletion state through iCloud. Some synchronized records, including receipt evidence, may remain in your private iCloud storage after they disappear from active views. Removing the app deletes its local copy but may not remove records already synced to iCloud; you can manage iCloud data through your Apple ID and device settings.
Children
OfferIQ is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
